What is Afterpay
Afterpay is a payment service that allows you to pay for retail products, gift vouchers, services and packages both in store and online. It lets you buy something instantly and pay for it in instalments.

Split your purchase into 4 instalments
You’ll pay your first instalment at the time of purchase, and the remainder every fortnight.
No fees when you pay on time
With interest-free instalments, the only fees are for late payments. You can find your payment schedule in the Afterpay app and we’ll send you regular reminders.
Enjoy instant approval decision
You’ll know you’ve been approved within seconds. Orders ship as they would with any other form of payment, as quickly as you choose.
How to create an Afterpay account
The good news is – it is extremely easy to have an Afterpay account created! All you need to do now is to download the Afterpay App and follow some simple steps guiding you through the process. Please remember that to sign up with Afterpay you need to:
- Be living in Australia
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid and verifiable email address and phone number
- Use an Australian bank payment card
- Be capable of entering into a legally binding contract
- Have a verifiable and valid ID
Using Afterpay in-store
At the moment, Resilient Beauty Studio accepts Afterpay in-store payments only. While integration of online payments are on our roadmap, this is how it works today:
- You book your appointment.
- You will need to have an Afterpay app on you phone.
- When paying for your appointment, you will need to show a barcode on your phone which is generated by the Afterpay app and clicking the “In Store” icon at the bottom of the app.
- We will use the barcode/code to process the payment with.
- If approved, the full amount is deposited in Resilient Beauty Studio merchant account. Done!
- You then pay off your Afterpay balance over four fortnightly instalments.
